Mike, I did not get to meet you face to face but I felt like I knew you after watching you on rehab!! I struggled with addiction too and I can relate to wanting to quit but realized it was a trap or a prison with no release and no one could change that, we were stuck like that the addiction always came back. It consumes a person until you are a slave to it!! I was delivered from addiction through the healing power of Jesus Christ who died to save and heal the world of all addiction, disease, poverty and sickness forever and to give us a new life and I am living proof!! I wish I could have had you as my best friend cause I fell in love with the kind and loving person that you were and I loved your style of bass and you were very gifted!! I wish there was no such thing as death!! This is very hard to have to say goodbye....love you!!!

Mike, now you are with Layne, and you are both free. This brings me peace. I pray for your families. we will all be together someday.

I am so sorry you were in so much pain, and know what that pain feels like. I only hope now that your suffering has ended. I also pray that your family can find peace.
