You've been on my mind often in the last month. Maybe it's spring, impending Homecoming, the May long weekend, this dreaded day. Whatever the impetus, my thoughts are always a mixture of sadness for me, peace for you and a smile for some of our adventures. xo

Missing you on your birthday Walmo.

I turned 50 this week and spent some time remembering the night we celebrated my 19th, your 20th and Richard's 21st at Alfie's. The Hip played Brown Eyed Girl as my birthday song in front of that tie-dyed sheet they hung as a back drop and we drank more B52s and German Helmets than I have in all the years since. Thank you for that one of hundreds of hilarious nights.
